I must admit, there's something a little more fun about fashion in the colder seasons... I guess it's the unlimited amount of pieces you can wear at once. But, like most of us, one of my ultimate favourite things about the winter wardrobe is thigh high/knee boots!! yes my friends, they are back. I finally found a pair that actually fit my leg for the first time ever so this is kind of a bench mark for me, I now need them in every colour, I can imagine they look amazing in tan. I couldn't wait to wear the 'mini skirt long boots' combo again so I pulled out the cutest tartan number and voila, my signature prep chic.
Coco said it best 'simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance' a few pieces all tied together and you're ready to go. It's so easy to get dressed when you have such a pretty playsuit to work around, I got this one from She In! I loved the cold shoulder and the fact that it's actually shorts... I find it way easier to wear something short and floaty when I know I have that safety net haha. This site has amazing clothes for next to nothing so if you're looking for an affordable outfit, this is your place. Btw, this is my first post with my new-ish hair! I haven't had highlights for about 4-5 years so I thought I'd freshen it up and get some again after so long! it's a little lighter and I was a bit skeptical at first but after a few days I now love it :) what do you guys think?
I spent my Friday night indoors attempting to do them things you say you'll do but put off for months - like pulling out all the bags from under your bed and sorting through them. I can't complain, it was quite pleasant! I had gathered up tonnes of goodie bags from press days and fashion week so it was kind of like a mini Christmas and I was really impressed with some of the stuff - like this hair perfume? haha I had no idea it existed. I also have actually never bought a liquid eyeliner? probably because I have no idea how to do it and am one of those 'would rather go without eye make up' kinda gals but no more... I'm going to try it with this handy little thin one. As well as this, I also went through some old stuff that I do not want anymore to add to my Depop. It's an app where you can sell your items so if you're looking for some stuff for half the price head over to mine :) username: @nadaadellex
I have been so open to colour lately! I think the fall mood boards, changing leaves and cosy coats have inspired all of us. I'm definitely one of those people that is super particular about wearing different shades together - meanwhile you get those girls who can go out wearing a rainbow and still look fabulous - but that's what is so great about the autumn palette, it's easy for anyone to pair their preferred pieces together. For me, camel goes with almost everything so an oversized coat with this beau berry two piece is the perfect evening look if you're wanting something a bit more covered up but equally as sultry.

Like many, one of my first obsessions and most loved thing about London was all the white buildings, homes and architecture that so many spend their time photographing with a caption that goes something like "home goals/ door goals". This weekend I got the chance to stay at the family run Melita Hotel which was just that and more being located in central London just by Victoria station... I hadn't ever been there before but it may be my new favourite area. As you can see by the images, it was nothing short of an instagramable dream! Craig and I stayed in one of the superior rooms and yes we had the best balcony ever, I definitely need one of those in my life. We spent a few cosy days exploring all the cutest coffee shops nearby and making the most of being next to all the attractions. If you're looking for an affordable and quality stay in London, I would definitely recommend this place.
You know when all of your favourite colours are "IN" and you need to make the most of it while it lasts, you'll be finding me in all shades of green through out fall. Every season Kenza's collections become stronger and stronger, her Autumn Chills is one of the best yet and I love getting my hands on all of my favourite pieces including this scuba skirt that everyone has gone crazy over. Adore how I can always count on her to make a few garments out of one of my most loved materials, scuba you rule. I realised I hadn't worn my peppermint saddle bag yet so when I saw it together with the skirt I knew I found a match, how cute is the two tone? very pleased with my colourful collection of arm candy right now... (I still love you black).
"Playing dress up beings at age five and never truly ends" this quote always reminds my of myself, especially when wearing the more grown up version of a princess outfit >,< I always loved the idea of expression through fashion and well the whole growing up thing... that's something I NEVER believed in. Everyone I've ever had the conversation with talks about their teens being a time of having the biggest urge to grow up and wishing to be older, that never happened to me. Turning 18 meant nothing, I never went on to do any of the things I could "legally" and I've used my ID less than a hand full of times. My dreams still consist of building a real tree house (I watched a documentary on some of the best ones in the world the other day) and being peter pan, of course. When I saw some teens write "goals, in 10 years time" on my image yesterday... even though being a mere 4 years older than them haha, I couldn't help but have a big think about it. There's no rush guys, and you will never be as anything as you are right now... young, healthy, free. Enjoy it and use the hell out of it! you are goals too ;).
I wore this casual fit just before fashion week and didn't get the chance to post the full look for you guys who were asking where some of these must have pieces were from. Although it has gotten a little colder since, I think dusters are the perfect in-between jackets for these months where it is cold in the morning but you are dying from sun beems in the afternoon! I mean, in the past 24 hours I think we've had every single weather that exists... typical. I also finally added a fringe/tassel bag to my collection from the wonderfully British Zatchels. I actually had in mind a classic brown satchel as I've actually never owned one but when I saw this upcoming style (which also happened to match my shoes) well yes, lets just say I got a bit distracted! I absolutely love the quality of this one... a bit biased but there's nothing like home-grown goodness >.< I will have this in my closet for a long time.
The season has changed, a new month is upon us so ladies... this is the perfect excuse to start adding new items to your fall-drobe. I kinda had a head start on accessories this year (could not resist) adding some burgundy/berry shades to my collection which I don't have much of starting with this LYDC shopper bag! every time I look at hand bags I somehow walk out with the black version so when i came across this one - great size and a nice deep colour - I knew it would be one of those 'comes with me everywhere' bags. When I saw this dress I automatically knew what I would wear them with, can we talk about how freaking cute it is? ho my god. Did you know folk music is one of my favourite genres? no? well you do now. This has some kind of relevance because of the name of the dress obviously and it's just one of those free-friendly-cosy pieces i can imagine dancing around in, the pattern is so pretty.
Some snaps from grabbing coffee and a catch up with my bff, is there anything better? definitely a favourite pass time. I know a lot of you asked me to tag the items I'm wearing on Instagram however this coat I have had for about 2 years haha so I found something very similar. Also, THE SHOES! I have looked for them everywhere online to link for you guys but I'm afraid they're all sold out. I purchased them from Urban Outfitters about a year ago and they seem to have all gone but I left the name above and also check out the slider below where I have linked a few similar alternatives. The rest of my Saturday is going to look more like this... relaxation and laughs >,< I hope you have a lovely one.
