BLACK DAZE

Sunglasses - My Milly Moo (Here)
High Waist Jeans - Topshop (Here)
Ribbed Bodysuit - Missguided (Here)
Lace Up Boots - Public Desire (Here)
Bag - Hermes (Here)

Some days there's nothing better than wearing all comfy bits (usually black) jumping in the car with my love, throwing my feet up on the seat and having a nice unplanned day out. Whoever said accessories are not enough to take over an outfit was wrong, say hello to my new mirrored sunglasses! they deserve a whole spotlight of their own because they are pretty fabulous right? uh love. Also, I may have spilled before that I have this problem where I'll buy the same thing at least 4 times if I like it... these booties, ya they might just be one of them. But seriously, when in life won't I need a cute simple pair of black boots? total justification. I've done the same with these jeans, well maybe touching on 8 pairs now but you know it's totally needed... girls, I know you're with me :')

A LITTLE STRAPPY

Kimmy Dress - My Bandage Dress (Here)
Nude Strappy Heels - Zara / Similar (Here)

How glorious was the weather this weekend? Unexpected heat is almost like a miracle these days so I took full advantage heading to brunch in this pretty little MBD dress and enjoyed the sun outside on the lovely white sofas. I'm making the most of any free time right now in the run up to Septembers London fashion week which gives me a little shock of anxiety every time I think about it. It's such a hectic time for just about everybody in the industry and I can see myself having little sleep in the midst of it all. For the moment though, I'm enjoying watching Stockholm fashion week from the comfort of my own home haha, god it looks wonderful.

FASHION IS ART

About You Dress - Fame And Partners (Here)

Yesterday I read the quote "Fashion is art and you are the canvas." and to be honest that's exactly the way I like to look at it. Every now and then, away from my every day ripped jeans, I like to wear something... well, beautiful. There's no denying that this dress is a walking piece of art and I most definitely felt my inner gypsy queen come out haha >,< which is why Fame and Partners are just THAT brand when it comes to exquisite gowns that you can't say no to. This week my days were full of admiring my favourite kind of art when I took trips to PR show rooms to view some insane collections such as Jean Pierre Braganza which pretty much left me in awe. You know, I'm a museum kinda gal, I like to admire and marvel over things. All the years Craig and I have been together we have visited all the museums in every different city we've travelled to so... if you're ever feeling a lack of inspiration/creativity, just remember there are so many places to find it.

IN THE NUDE

Camel Waistcoat - Missy Empire (Here)
Strappy Cami - River Island (Here)
Zip Trousers - Quiz Clothing (Here)
Nude Heels - Zara / Similar (Here)
Bag - Hermes (Here)
Sunglasses - Asos (Here)

It's not every day your hair and skin colour match your outfit haha! but thanks to the bipolar weather I'm already flirting with fall colours expecting the next season to kick in way earlier than it should. Today I had a shoot in the north and was greeted by gale force rain to the point where all the models were stood around the hairdryers trying to salvage our belongings and tickets that were nicely drenched - not cool. Tonight I'm going to try a new Thai restaurant with the girls while I'm in town to have a nice catch up and fill my belly after 8 hours in front of a flash, woooh.

LACE UP FRONT

Lace Up Bodysuit - (Many Linked At The Bottom Of Post)
Whitby Ripped Jeans - Asos (Here)
Silver Buckle Belt - H&M / Similar (Here)
Quilted Bag - Anna Smith / Similar (Here)
Court Heels - Zara / Similar (Here)
Retro SUnglasses - Asos (Here)

Ohh I'm all laced up at the moment, I can't get enough of the trend! especially these dreamy bodysuits. Yet again I just had to link you guys a million different versions below so you could see how many looks are out there because picking one is impossible. I wore this fit on our date night a few days ago, casual with a dressy touch! I have practically been in sweats ever since as Craig is away in Munich which obviously means I'm dying... I mean a whole TWO days without your better half? what kind of cruelty is this? so I've decided to spend most of my days at the gym running off my sadness hahah. On that topic, lately I seem to have gone off meat a little and leaning towards a plant based diet. This of course has many health benefits but I'm rather clueless on recipe's! do any of you have any good cook book suggestions?

DOUBLE GREY

Knitted Tank - H&M / Similar (Here)
Grey Ripped Jeans / Similar at Topshop (Here)
Lace Up Pointed Flats - (Many CUTE versions linked at the bottom of this post!)

Talk about DIY, this outfit should probably be tagged Nada Adelle with all the nipping and tugging I did to it. First of all, Topshop... why you always sold out of my size? they are the one place I trust buying my jeans from as the 24" fit perfectly however it's rare they have my size in. The pair I tagged above are the jeans I should be wearing however since all 876439 stores didn't have them in (& yes I checked them all) I decided to buy this random plain pair online, cut the knees and bottoms too haha. The shoes I am wearing I also bought randomly online and laced up which is why I decided I wanted to tag all the beautiful different versions I found online because they are SO pretty and I want them all. If you click on the image it will take you to the site and they are all super inexpensive. It's times like this I remember why I started my blog, fashion is all about individuality! taking things and putting them together how YOU want to wear it... and attacking them with scissors if necessary muhaha.
There. Are. No. Rules.

MAASAI COLOUR

Boho Dress - New Look / Similar (Here)
Serengeti Bag - Maasai Colour (Here)
Tan Fedora Hat - Stradivarius / Similar (Here)
Tan Klam Heels - Carvela (Here)

When I first started my blog I was in my second year of law school which was quite an impassioned time for me. One thing I always knew I wanted to try and do was to combine my love for fashion with other aspects of myself/things that are important to me such as culture, awareness and world matters as well as being that stylish city girl. I often come across pieces that inspire me all over again that have their own meaningful story such as the Maasai Colour bag you see me wearing above. This little beauty was hand made by local artisans (the people you see in the image below) in their worksop in Nairobi promoting a brand that is eco-friendly, ethical and gives us a taste of Kenyan style. An interesting fact about this brand is that they even have Vivienne Westwood's head tailor from the ethical fashion initiative - cool huh?. It makes me so happy to see people taking responsible actions to not only provide ethical fashion but also to provide jobs and make a positive change. I'm 100% supportive and behind such movements and I hope you guys are too :)
