FREE THE CURL

Joico Curl Range - (Here)

When it comes to packs of products I usually find one for every hair type 'fine hair, limp hair, coloured hair, dry hair' but there is rarely a whole array of products for curly hair together so when leading brand Joico recently launched their curl range I was pleasantly surprised and wanted to get my hands on some to try. There are seven products in total which aim to moisturize, define and strengthen the curl and they actually say it's for all types of curls from corkscrew to waves. Although not so important for the hair specifically, I'm always more inclined to buy products that smell amazing and I think this is the dreamiest I've come across haha. I tested the curl defining mousse on Craig's curly hair and ended up sniffing his head all day >,< it really defined and held his frizzy fro in place. The other products include anti frizz cream which I know a lot of you have trouble with, a correcting milk to restore the PH balance and also a reanimating mist that restores bounce which is my personal favourite product of the bunch. Like all things, if you're looking for holy grail products testing a few to find the one is key but as these products specify they are fall all types I thought this may help to share what I myself am currently trying :)

IMMACULATE FACE

Nars Valhalla Eye shadow (Here)
Nars Luminous Weightless Foundation In 'Cadiz' (Here)
Nars Immaculate Complexion Pressed Powder (Here)
Sedona Lace Brushes - (Here) and (Here)

There are many face products that I'm yet to try but the Nars make up was definitely at the top of my list purely due to the amount of praise I've heard over the past few months and all of the feedback it gets online. I just had to give the new Luminous Weightless Foundation a whirl because of the raving reviews plastered all over at the moment literally naming it the best they've come across. Recent studies showed that 92% of ladies felt that the foundation provided full coverage and felt weightless so I was pretty won over with that one and am quite excited to see how I get on. I chose to get two other products I thought would compliment it which was the super shiny Valhalla shadow that I think would also work well as a highlighter for me and of course the immaculate pressed powder for the finish. Another thing I really needed lately was some new brushes because of my sensitive face so one of my requests was a really good and soft foundation brush which I got from Sedona Lace and is definitely the softest I have ever owned, they literally glide across my face so I'm really happy with that :) I think the new purchases are a definite score.

PETITE PLEAD

It's no secret that body shaming has been at the forefront of all social media debates over the last few weeks with uproars, arguments and even petitions over products and advertisements but I couldn't help but sit back and think that everyone was missing the bigger picture? why is skinny shaming ok, if fat shaming is not? It seems people think in order to uplift one thing you have to put down another.

In my opinion, the model, well known for her fitness and physique, didn't deserve the personal backlash of comments just as it would be insane for hundreds to outwardly attack someone of a bigger size! this led me to think about the week I'd had. Since birth, I have always been described as 'petite' and have never been over a size 4/6 all down to genetics, genes and just my general overall build. In fact, the first comment I usually get when meeting someone is "how are you so tiny?" which I got the day of my shoot last week where the brand did not stock my size.

This month while watching Plus Sized Wars on channel 4 I found myself sitting with a proud grin when plus size bloggers were celebrating their right to bigger clothes and then I stopped to think about the flipside... how many stores do you see stocking a size 4 or 6? and would it be frowned upon if a huge campaign for petite girls hit the screens? Maybe it is just as insulting to have to be clipped in to everything as it would be if they didn't have a size big enough for you. Surely if were talking about fairness and equality it should be across the whole scale? everybody matters and every BODY matters. There are a huge amount of brands I adore the pieces from and would love the opportunity to own in something smaller than the sample size 10. Because of this, it's only right that I put a petite plead out that all brands should consider having a size available for all the petite women out there who need clothes too.

I don't recall a time ever being unhappy with my size and I am positive that being told to go eat a burger will never change that, but I will take you up on that offer because contrary to popular belief we do eat too. Let's try to focus on health and happiness, which you can't judge by someone's exterior... only the inside can tell you who is healthier than the next and it's the inside that matters. I love me. and I love you. and it's okay for us all to love each other.

TUX ME UP

Button Up Blazer - Missy Empire (Here)
High Waist Jeans - Topshop (Here)
Lace Up Sandal - Zara (Here)
Sunglasses - River Island (Here)
Bag - Hermes (Here)

Who said you can't do boyish cuts and make them girly? here is one for the ladies who prefer not to dress up in skirts or dresses but still want to look chic for an occasion! blazer/tuxedo esc cuts are so in right now and look perfectly stylish with a pair of skinny's if I do say so myself. Adding to this not too high maintenance vibe are my new Zara sandals which I'd basically class as flats. Yes, they do have a small heel but it's a block style and moderate so in my eyes... doesn't count. I just got back from the New Look AW15 preview today and I must say I'm extremely impressed with what I've seen! lots of earth tones, tassels and magical accessories! I gave you guys a sneek peak on snapchat :) if you want to find me my username is 'nadaadellex'.

EYEKO

Black Magic Mascara - (Here)
Me and My Shadow - (Here) and (Here)
Lash Wardrobe - (Here)

Over the past few months I have been stocking up on tonnes of different products to try them out on my ever changing face. Recently my skin has been a lot more sensitive which I've been told can come with age - haha yes I only just entered my twenties but I guess it's the case. Apart from needing them because of seeing them on the beautiful Alexa, I really wanted to try the Eyeko eye products because they are easy to use for every day people who aren't exactly pro's like myself. This mascara has had a lot of excitement around it, right so! I got the curled brush which is perfect for people like me who can't do their mascara without forever getting it all over the eyelid. My favourite from the products are the waterproof shadow liners which are basically an eyeshadow in a stick on one side and a brush on the other. Recently Alexa said "I can't be bothered with powder eyeshadows that you have to blend, blend, blend. It takes skill and patience. I would rather just draw it on and smudge." which basically sums up this product and that is good enough for me!

Sunglasses are the one accessory we all have in common because everyone needs a good pair so I linked all of my current favourite's above. I recently said that sunglasses are my favourite accessory because I genuinely never leave the house without a pair... I just can't. Having said that, this post should probably not be named summer accessories because I happen to believe they are an all year round necessity and yes it is okay to wear them inside. Me and my sunnieswill not be seperated!! is there anything you can't leave the house without?

LOOK FANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX

May Beauty Box - (Here)

If you're anything like me, you dabble in and out of trying to decide which beauty products to buy next because let's face it, not everyone can afford to be making mistakes when it comes to what's right for you! there's nothing worse than a wasted full bottle of anything. It's because of this I'm kind of amazed at finding out about the Look Fantastic Beauty Box - a monthly box that has a minimum of 6 surprise new must have products to try for £15 and the contents of this one is worth £45!!!!! crazy. So basically, you get to try things that you would even think of trying/ buying alone for £15, sounds perfect to me.

As I said on my Instagram I would go through this month's box and tell you a bit about what's inside:

1. Omorovicza Cleansing Balm / Available (Here) - I thought I'd start with the product I'm most excited to try, this cleansing balm is award winning as it removes make up (even waterproof mascara) without stripping the skin and is rich in calcium/magnesium and almond oil for a soft finish! eep.
2. Huile Prodigieuse / Available (Here) - otherwise known as the little orange bottle above! this is a luxury oil for parts of your body that need attention (shoulders, neckline, hands etc)
3. Regenerating Hair Mask / Available (Here) - This product is by Christopher Robin for all hair types to repair and protect made with pure prickly pear seed oil, one of the rarest and most expensive oils in the world.
4. Transphuse Night Serum / Available (Here) - This night cream helps plump up fine lines and make skin look smoother and more youthful.
5. Eyelure Lashes / Available (Here) - I've been told a few times on set that I may be allergic to certain eye lash glues so these self-adhesive strip lashes with no glue needed may be the one.
6. Tanworx Lotion / Availble (Here) - This tan is a hydrating and conditioning lotion with the purpose to give a natural golden glow which they have in a lot of shades.

I already can't wait to see what is in next month's box :D until then!

GODIVA ICE CREAM

Godiva - (Here)
Luxury Ice Cream (Here)
Available at Godiva's Regent St, St Pancras, Covent Garden & Canary Wharf stores

If you're going to do ice cream, you may as well do it the right way - with luxury and impeccable taste. Last night I attended the Godiva ice cream parlour event which was genuinely like walking into a scene from charlie and the chocolate factory... so basically I got to live my childhood dream! I mean, you can't really ask for more than a store where almost everything is edible.

The highlight of the event which everyone wanted a go of was the toppings bar where you could create your own bespoke luxury ice cream (yes you may have seen my snapchats of Craig and I hogging that area). It started with choosing a base from a delicious waffle cone, dipped chocolate waffle cone or a small/large cup! You all know that I have a major sweet tooth so I thought I'd have a taste of everything haha and obviously opted for BOTH vanilla and intense dark chocolate. This was followed by adding the dreamy toppings they had out on dispaly - milk, dark or white crispy pearls, chocolate flakes, bresilienne and chocolate syrup! I think the great thing about this is the DIY aspect... you could totally host your own Godiva ice cream parlour at home putting out a selection of these toppings (available here)! After taking some toppings away myself and making my friends jealous with all the snaps I'm going to have my own little get together this weekend :).

a huge thank you to Godiva for sponsoring this and my trip to London.

NUDE SHADES

MAC Spice Lip Liner (Here)
MAC Honey Love Lipstick (Here)
NYX Lip Liners / I have Coffee, Natural & Mauve (Here)
NYX Creamy Round Lipstick in Thalia (Here)

One of the most frequent questions I get asked is "what Lipstick are you wearing?" so I thought I'd lay out all my current favourite's that I usually mix and match together. I always wear a lip liner underneath a lipstick and matte it out with a piece of tissue when both on together as I prefer not to have a wet lip most of the time but you can skip that part if you don't mind a shiner look. I usually have one liner and one lipstick in my bag but I must admit I've been carrying both MAC Spice and Honey Love around with my lately as they're such a dreamy duo. A great thing about the NYX liner's though is that you can usually buy them in a pack which is much cheaper than the MAC products, I purchased these 3 nude shades together. All of the shades above are perfect for an every day look as they are very minimal so If you're searching for something subtle I would definitely recommend them.

PATH OF PINK

Wrap Shirt - River Island (Here)
Beverley Skirt - V Label London (Here)
Pink Heels / Similar (Here)

I don't think it gets much girlier than this but the universe had a plan because when I stepped out the streets were filled with the soft pinks of spring >,< there is literally nothing simpler than pairing a shirt with a pop of colour skirt so for those of you that tell me you can't find the time to be fashionable, this is your fit! I had such a fun week shooting and attending the Very pool party but I am officially shattered and unfortunately every time I'm in the city I've been having a skin reaction on my face as if I'm allergic to something? I can't work out what it is so yesterday I popped into Clinique and they gave me a soothing skin lotion! I'm trying a bunch of new products right now so be expecting some beauty related reviews :)
