GOLD CLUSE

Satin Cami - Nasty Gal (Here)
Pleated Skirt - Shoptiques (Here)
La Vedette Mesh Gold Watch - Cluse (Here)
Wrapped Heel / Similar (Here)

I love a smart minimal watch, with gold accessories being my favourite it's strange that most of my collection have the simple black strap. Well, I finally added a mesh gold strap to the mix with the Cluse La Vedette which is much smaller than your average face being 24mm but perfect for my tiny wrist #girlprobs. I'm also all over satin right now, you all know how much I love Cami's and this skirt is a DREAM! I saw a lot of girls rocking them at Modest Fashion Week which was so inspiring so I had to get involved, J'adore.

CLASSIQUE

Frill Sleeve Sweater - Zara (Here)
Quilted Ballerina Flats - French Sole (Here)
Black Trousers - Next (Here)
Chevron Love Bag - Rebecca Minkoff (Here)
Sunglasses / Similar SheIn (Here)

I'm all for classics; they are always flattering, never out of style and always tasteful. One of those has to be the ballet flat. I absolutely love a comfy quilted pair to keep in my bag when I need a quick change, these one's from French Sole are the perfect pair I was looking for with the patent toe cap. This month is crazy hectic with Fashion Week coming up and I can barely think straight let alone keep up with my to-do list but as always I'm super excited for what February has to bring!

A NATURAL BEAUTY

Life, by Okinawa: A natural beauty

As you all know I recently celebrated my 24th birthday, aside from celebrations there is a certain cloud of deep thought that comes with each passing year. What have I accomplished thus far? Should I be further? What does this next year entail? a lot of questions that many females ask themselves in a society that focuses on the physical and somewhat gives women an 'expiration date'. I recently watched this video by Be Okinawa who are focusing on Okinawa in Japan and how to learn more by travelling and expanding ones view on beauty. This seriously resonated with me as the two women, Jen and Sarah, both work in Fashion PR, a job similar to my own so it got me thinking. Social media has reached it's all time high, I mean, it's a necessity for most of us and we almost live in this "Instagram Bubble" which for the most part is a great tool. It has, however, come with a certain pressure and created an unattainable beauty standard for many. Watching the people of Okinawa reminded me that sometimes we need to step out of that bubble, experience life from another perspective and expand our views on what beauty really is. It's so easy to get caught up in our every day online rut that we forget about the huge world out there, it's natural wonders, cultures and ways of life. Seeing those old women so full of happiness and LOVING their age made me melt... I'm now itching to visit Okinawa, how about you?

Emerie Dress - For Love And Lemons (Here)

BIRTHDAY GIRL! So, it's safe to say that this year may have been one of my best birthday's ever. Not because of what I had, received or did ... simply because of the people in my life who make me feel so special every day. Every single detail was thought out to perfection with me in mind from the chanel cake, personalised cards, balloons, gifts that I'd been banging on about for months and of course the venue which was all white to fit THIS GIRLS INSTA FEED :'). I'm not sure how my friends managed to score me being the first to experience afternoon tea at Menagerie but it was the perfect girly touch. If you follow me on snapchat or insta stories you will have seen how the day continued, I was having too much fun to picture it all. Also, how incredible is this dress? I saw it and had to have it! I know a lot of you girls have asked me to link it but it is unfortunately sold out so I have found a bunch of equally stunning alternatives below, kisses!

KNITS & ZIPS

Tie Sleeve Knit Jumper - Topshop (Here)
Leather Zip Leggings - Silkfred (Here)
Aviators - Romwe (Here)
Heeled Buckle Sandal - NA-KD (Here)
Quilted Crossbody Bag - Topshop (Here)

I have a hate love relationship with January, the grey days seem everlasting and dark comes too soon but I also want to live in cosy knitwear forever AND it is the month of MY BIRTHDAY so I guess that's a ray of sunshine on an otherwise very glum period. Sleeves seem to be the biggest A/W fashion trend this year and definitely my favourite... bell sleeves and cute ribbon tie jumpers, I can't get enough of you. I paired this one with my Silkfred bikers which are one of the only pairs I've found that actually hug my figure if you're looking for the skinny style, there's nothing worse than a pair of pants that are loose in all the wrong places. Shop the look below!
